Stress Is A Fact Of Life

33% of people report feeling extreme stress, and over 70% of people say stress affects their physical and mental health.

Stress is just a fact of life, but finding healthy ways to cope can literally save your life.

Exercise: You already know this, but maybe it feels overwhelming to get started. Go small with walks around the block, a bike ride in the park, or 10 minutes of morning yoga. Green tea: Take a little break to sip on some green tea or matcha, which studies have shown help reduce stress markers. Reduce your caffeine intake: Don’t worry, we’re not telling you to give up your morning coffee. But drinking multiple cups, especially later in the day, can contribute to stress and anxiety, Cuddle: This one’s my favorite! Physical contact helps release oxytocin, which reduces stress. Whether it’s your partner, your pet or your favorite stuffed animal, a little cuddling goes a long way.

Breathe deeply. Slow, deep breathing helps calm you down and feel more peaceful.
